Lee Anne Sapp’s practice centers on the representation of real estate developers and investors in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing matters, and joint-venture projects. Lee Anne has represented real estate development and investment companies in the acquisition and development of shopping centers and mixed-use, multi-family, industrial, and office developments, and in the negotiation of leases with prospective tenants for such properties, lenders in connection with loans for the acquisition and development of medical office projects, foreclosures and workouts. Her experience includes representation of a high-end golf resort community developer in the restructure of a loan facility secured by a large number of its communities. Lee Anne uses the fundamentals of commercial real estate in all her transactions, including but not limited to: contract negotiations, due diligence review, title and survey review, lease review, identifying and solving development issues. Lee Anne has also developed a system of reviewing due diligence for clients and manages teams of attorneys working on those deals.
In addition to her experience representing developers as landlords, Lee Anne has developed her skills representing tenants by assisting the firm's corporate clients in leasing matters. She has also helped sell a portfolio of five industrial projects for which she handled the acquisition, financing, and leasing.
