Anna Kouba is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate and Hospitality practices.  She represents global hotel investment companies and multinational owners and operators of hotels in connection with the acquisition, sale and financing of hotel properties.  She has experience managing all aspects of transactional closings on behalf of buyers, sellers and borrowers.  In addition, she has represented a variety of clients in connection with commercial real estate transactions located throughout the world, including the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. 

In 2014, Anna served as counsel on the Americas Lodging Investment Summit’s Development of the Year, the 1,175-room Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC.

While in law school, Anna was a member of The Catholic University Law Review

  • Represented Hyatt Hotels Corporation in connection with the $238,000,000 acquisition of the Thompson Miami Beach Hotel in Miami, Florida. 
  • Represented a hospitality investment company in connection with the refinancing of a $115,000,000 loan secured by a luxury hotel in San Francisco, California.
  • Represented a private equity hotel investment firm in connection with the $142,000,000 sale of a 3 hotel portfolio in Miami, Florida.
  • Represented a global hospitality investment company in connection with the $79,000,000 sale of a hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Represented a private equity hotel investment firm in connection with the $83,500,000 sale of a luxury hotel in Seattle, Washington.
  • Represented a privately held hotel investment company in connection with the refinancing of a $33,000,000 loan secured by a hotel in Dallas, Texas.
  • Represented a global hospitality investment company in connection with the $70,000,000 sale of a hotel in Miami, Florida.
