Morris, Manning & Martin Elects Three to Partnership

Representing Real Estate, Litigation and Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy

Atlanta (October 18, 2011) ─ Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP is pleased to announce that it has elected three attorneys to become partners.  Associates Christina Graham, John Lockett and Lisa Wolgast will officially join the firm’s partnership on January 1, 2012.  Respectively they are representatives of the firm’s Real Estate, Litigation and Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy practices.

Christina Graham is in the firm’s Real Estate Development and Finance Practice.  She represents developers ─ among them the nation’s leading multifamily developer ─ and owners in all phases of commercial real estate including acquisitions, developments, financings, dispositions and tax free exchanges.  Christina received her law degree from Emory University.

John Lockett is in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice.  He has a wide breadth of trial experience and has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the U.S. in various complex commercial litigations and arbitrations.  John has served as lead counsel in arbitrations, bench trials and actions seeking injunctive relief.  He received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.

Lisa Wolgast is in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Practice.   She regularly handles contested foreclosures, represents creditors in complex workouts, defends lenders liability claims and has represented creditors’ committees in bankruptcy court.  Lisa regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy courts.  She received her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
