Tom Capretta focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, representing institutional and private investors in the acquisition, disposition, and financing/refinancing of real estate assets. His experience includes title and survey diligence review, and the preparation of organizational documents, leases, and purchase and sale agreements for transactions involving a variety of types of properties.
Prior to joining the firm, Tom gained commercial real estate experience at a boutique law firm in northern Virginia, and a title company in Washington, D.C. Tom earned his J.D. from the College of William & Mary Law School and his bachelor’s degree in mathematics, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to law school, Tom served as an infantry officer in the US Army.
