Ryan Migeed works in all areas of U.S. trade law and international trade agreements in the firm’s International Trade practice. Ryan carries out extensive legal research, develops and files questionnaire responses and exhibits, and reviews and cite-checks briefs and other procedural documents. Additionally, he files such briefs and procedural documents to government agencies and courts, including the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Commission, Court of International Trade, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Ryan recently served as a stagiaire (law clerk) to Judge Ulf Öberg on the General Court of the Court of Justice of the European Union, working primarily on the judge’s trade cases. Ryan was one of two American stagiaires to serve on the Court, having been selected by the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg through the State Department’s Dean Acheson program.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was a legal extern for the Office of the Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State. Ryan was also a legal intern for both the USAID Office of the General Counsel’s Ethics & Administration division and the Fraud Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia
