Emmie Sutter is a paralegal in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Real Estate and Finance, Partnerships and Investment Funds, Corporate Tech, and Government Insured Loans (Concentrated in SBA) practices. Her experience includes managing and organizing case files; analysis and managment of client due diligence; and drafting legal documents. Emmie also conducts research in addition to assisting with trials.
Regarding her work in Real Estate, Emmie has assisted attorneys in closing acquisition, disposition, development and financing transactions relating to multifamily residential developments, office complexes, restaurants, and senior facilities. She also drafts and manages closing documents. For Government Insured SBA Loans, Emmie prepares all loan documents and works closely with one of our attorneys to get those documents to closing.
Her Corporate Formation work includes drafting, filing and managing various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs and partnerships with state agencies. She coordinates formation and dissolution documents in various state jurisdictions for LLCs, Corporations, Limited Partnerships and Non-profit entities. Emmie reviews due diligence items, prepares and drafts resolutions, actions by written consents, bylaws, officer certificates and other corporate documents. She flawlessly manages over 500 entities annually for clients. Emmie also handles the legalisation of documents abroad for some International Corporate transactions that require it.
Emmie has been able to establish her paralegal career with her experience as a Research Assistant in the Rare Books Industry working with Universities and Museums prior to joining MMM. This important foundation allows her to navigate cases efficiently with attention to the smallest detail in an organized manner.
