Ashley Klein focuses on trademark matters and intellectual property litigation. She routinely assists clients with identifying, protecting, and enforcing their U.S. and international intellectual property rights. Ashley has experience handling intellectual property disputes, particularly patent and trademark infringement claims. Ashley regularly represents trademark owners in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Ashley represents start-ups and mid-sized companies on intellectual property matters across a variety of industries, including technology, ecommerce, fashion, finance, food and beverage, agriculture, real estate, and hospitality. Ashley works hard to understand her client’s business goals to craft practical, cost-effective legal strategies that meet those goals. In particular, Ashley guides her clients through all aspects of domestic and international brand-building and brand management by analyzing and assessing the benefits and risks associated with adopting new brands and strategies associated with protecting and expanding established brands. Ashley also negotiates complex intellectual property license agreements and advises on domain name disputes and acquisitions.
While attending the University of Georgia School of Law, Ashley served as the Notes Editor of the Georgia Law Review.
