GBA Young Professionals Committee + Emory University HERCULES Exposome Research Center Presents a Panel Discussion on the Westside Lead Superfund Site featuring Brian Remler

10.13.2025

MMM is proud to spotlight associate Brian Remler, who will be a featured panelist at an upcoming event, on November 3rd, focused on the Westside Lead Superfund Site in Atlanta. Hosted by the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in partnership with the Georgia Brownfield Association, the panel will bring together experts to discuss the ongoing investigation and remediation of lead-contaminated properties in the Westside community.

Brian will join Dr. Eri Saikawa of Emory University and Henry Candela of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division to explore the complex environmental, legal, and community dynamics involved in large-scale, government-funded cleanups of occupied residential properties.
This event is free and open to the public. It offers an opportunity for environmental professionals, students, and community members to engage with leaders working at the intersection of science, policy, and public health.
