Morris, Manning & Martin Gains Two Of Counsel Adding to Funds and Capital Markets Practices

Growth in Atlanta and Raleigh-Durham

ATLANTA, GA -  December 1, 2010 ─ Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, a national leader in alternative investments in the real estate capital markets and funds arenas, is pleased to announce the addition of two of counsel.  Bradford R. Lenox, formerly of DLA Piper, is joining the firm in its Raleigh-Durham office and Jason K. Cordon, formerly of Paul Hastings, is joining the firm’s Atlanta office.

Lenox focuses his practice on advising clients on all aspects of fund formation, including initial fund formation, organizational structuring, regulatory compliance, offering memorandum and disclosure documentation, side letters, and internal structuring among fund sponsor principals.  He received his J.D. degree cum laude from Duke University School of Law in 1996 and B.B.A from the College of William and Mary in 1988.  Lenox is also a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina.

Cordon counsels clients regarding the formation and operation of tax credit and microfinance investment funds and represents U.S. and foreign investors in investments in a variety of pass-through entities.  He also works with U.S. and foreign clients to advise them regarding the international, federal and state tax aspects of a variety of transactions, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs, and restructurings.  He received his J.D. degreecum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 2003 and his B.A. summa cum laude from Campbell University in 2000.
