Atlanta (September 24, 2010) – Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP Of Counsel Greg Chafee has been named Vice Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Carbon Trading and Energy Finance Committee. The peer-nominated appointment spans the 2010-2011 ABA year, which began on August 8, 2010.
The ABA Carbon Trading and Energy Finance Committee focuses on energy transactions and trading, finance and environmental compliance. In his new role, Chafee will bring a particular focus to the technology emerging from the convergence of these areas. Chafee’s extensive experience advising clients on renewable energy projects, clean tech innovation and investment, and sustainability programs, policies and initiatives makes him an important addition to the Committee.
