(May 2023) - Readers of The Daily Report, ALM’s Atlanta publication, have named MMM The Best in Commercial Real Estate for 2023. The firm is also in the media outlet’s inaugural “Hall of Fame,” an honor reserved for companies and organizations that earned “Best Of” ranking for at least three out of the past four years.
The annual “Best Of” feature is designed to help lawyers identify the finest legal service providers and products. In addition, lawyers and firm administrators cast their votes on areas critical to practicing law and managing their professional and personal lives.
MMM was founded in 1976 – less than 50 years ago – as a real estate firm. As it grew, it helped many clients expand into industry leaders. The firm excels in every facet of real estate from financing to development, acquisition and disposition in sectors including multifamily, leisure and hospitality, industrial, office and healthcare.
The firm’s brownfield practice also helps developers “recycle” land impacted by prior industrial use nationwide. Firm Chairman Gerald Pouncey was chosen to represent the development community on the reauthorization of the Brownfields Program. He testified about the program’s success at a Sept. 28 U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee hearing on Capitol Hill.
