Xiaoya Zhu has extensive experience in complex civil litigation and administrative proceedings. She manages cases through all key stages of litigation, from discovery and depositions to motion practice and negotiated resolutions.
Before joining MMM, Xiaoya practiced at a regional litigation firm, where she handled a substantial caseload of civil defense matters, with an emphasis on trucking and transportation claims and professional liability claims. She also has experience representing federal employees in Title VII and wrongful termination cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Merit Systems Protection Board, and in federal district court. In these roles, she developed a strong foundation in client advocacy, case strategy, and both written and oral advocacy.
Xiaoya earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Emory Law Journal and authored a student comment on antitrust issues in the healthcare industry. During law school, she also interned with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office, gaining valuable insights into both civil and criminal litigation. She holds a B.A. in Economics, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Michigan.
