Morris, Manning & Martin advised Campus in its acquisition of Sizzle AI, an AI-powered learning platform founded by Jerome Pesenti and used by more than 1.7 million people.
Campus, a venture-backed online college founded by Tade Oyerinde and supported by investors including Sam Altman and Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal, offers accredited associate degrees through a fully live online experience. As part of the deal, Campus will buy Pesenti’s artificial intelligence learning platform Sizzle AI for an undisclosed amount and integrate its personalized AI-generated educational content already used by 1.7 million people.
The acquisition marks a significant step in Campus’s strategy to enhance adaptive learning and improve student outcomes. Pesenti, who formerly served as Vice President of AI at Meta, has joined Campus as Chief Technology Officer and will lead the company’s technology efforts. The move is expected to accelerate Campus’s engineering roadmap by several years and further its mission to deliver high-quality, scalable education solutions.
The MMM team was led by Partner Alex Scharyj, with support from Snir Gueli and Abani Rollins.
