What inspires you to help others in the field of law?
“I have never fit the mold of a typical lawyer, so I am particularly attuned to the fact that different colleagues bring different skill sets. Rather than pressuring people to conform, I aim to help them be themselves and achieve success in a personally fulfilling way. This is the smart approach for the firm’s business, but I’m also well aware that it creates a more positive work environment for me. Likable and happy people make for better, kinder partners! That’s part of why I have championed Morris Manning’s Culture Initiative. It’s so important to be proactive in cultivating a firm that not only serves clients at the highest level but also enables and celebrates well-rounded, happy leaders and colleagues. I believe strongly that people have much more to offer than their work product.”
