MMM’s Kunin Sworn In to Fla. Bar Post

Attorney now Pres.-Elect of Out-of-State Practitioner Division

Atlanta (June 29, 2015) – Larry Kunin, a partner in Technology and Corporate Litigation Practice and Chair of the Data Security and Breach Practice at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, is now President-Elect of the Florida Bar Association’s Out-of-State Practitioner Division. He was sworn in at the Bar’s Annual Convention in Boca Raton on June 26.

The Out-of-State Practitioner Division has more than 14,000 members. It is open to non-Florida attorneys interested in issues of importance to the state Bar. Kunin has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1995, dating back to when he practiced law in Miami. He also teaches Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes for the organization. He is currently based in Atlanta.                                    

Kunin concentrates in commercial, technology and intellectual property litigation and consultation, including issues related to software performance, technology implementation, trade secrets, trademarks and copyrights, as well as general commercial and business disputes, including post-M&A indemnification disputes. He is also available to serve as a special master or mediator in disputes involving technology or e-discovery.

Prior to joining MMM in 2000, Kunin practiced corporate litigation in Miami. He gained computer and technology experience as a computer programmer and analyst for The Miami Herald in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.

His one-year term as president-elect ends in 2016. The person holding that role traditionally becomes president of the division when their term ends.
