Kunin Again President of Florida Bar Out-of-State Division

06.11.2021

Atlanta (June 11, 2021) – Larry Kunin, who chairs the Technology and Intellectual Property Litigation Practice at Morris, Manning & Martin, has been sworn in as the president of the Florida Bar Association’s Out-of-State Practitioner Division. He was inducted on June 11 during the State Bar’s annual conference.

The Out-of-State Division represents the interests of thousands of Florida Bar members who reside in other states. Instead of focusing on specific practice areas, it serves the common interests and needs of out-of-state Florida Bar members as a whole. Its goal is to ensure equitable treatment for in-state and out-of-state Bar members by constantly reviewing and monitoring legislative and Bar proposals to try to ensure that out-of-state practitioners are on equal footing with their in-state counterparts.

This is Kunin’s second term leading the Division. He first held the office in 2016.

His practice concentrates in commercial, technology and intellectual property litigation and consultation, including issues related to software performance, technology implementation, trade secrets, trademarks and copyrights, data security and breach issues, as well as general commercial and business disputes, including business torts. He is also available to serve as a special master or mediator in disputes involving business law issues or technology. Kunin’s clients have ranged from large publicly-traded technology companies to startups and individuals.
