Generational Diversity is Topic of Georgia Bar Diversity Program Event

Atlanta (September 16, 2016) – Registration is now open for the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program’s Fall Continuing Legal Education (CLE)  Event and Luncheon. “Generational Diversity: Techniques and Strategies on Managing Diversity of Generations in the Workplace” is the topic.

It will be held Wed. Sept. 21 reception Thursday Sept. 22 program at Bar headquarters in downtown Atlanta at 104 Marietta St. N.W., Atlanta GA 30303.

Thursday morning’s featured CLE speaker is Moanica Caston, Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion for Georgia Power Company. Caston will engage in a dialog with Clyde Mize, who chairs the State Bar’s Diversity Program and is a partner in Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP’s Residential Real Estate Group. The conversation will include the utility’s diversity and inclusion efforts, best practices, and Caston’s vision for the future.

The keynote speaker is Kelley Park, Senior Vice President, Inclusivity and Human Services Southwire Company LLC. Southwire is North America's leading manufacturer of wire and cable used in the distribution and transmission of electricity. 

The event, which is open to the public, is geared toward attorneys, students and those in government and public service. Three CLE credits, including one for professionalism, are available to attendees.
