(December 2017) – Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP has elected four new partners. They will assume their new posts on Jan. 1, 2018.
The partners-elect, and their practice groups, are:
- Justin Barry – Commercial Real Estate Development & Finance and Commercial Lending
- Marc Bulson – Real Estate Development & Finance
- Matt Peurach – Corporate, Funds & Alternative Investments, Real Estate Capital Markets and Tax
- Mark Zisholtz – Employment, Contracts, Litigation and Corporate
Barry represents banks, life insurance companies, and other financial institutions in structuring, negotiating and documenting lending transactions, including development and construction loans, real estate secured term and acquisition loans, and syndicated loan facilities across all asset classes.
Bulson has experience in commercial real estate transactions including the development, acquisition, financing and disposition of retail, hotel, industrial and office properties. He has represented local and national developers, owners and investors involved in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
Peurach focuses on structuring commercial real estate transactions, negotiating and drafting partnership agreements and LLC agreements documenting equity investments in real estate, as well as structuring private equity funds and other joint venture-related entities.
Zisholtz heads the firm’s Contingent Labor Practice specializing in legal aspects of the “gig economy.” The former general counsel of a $600 million staffing and contingent labor workforce supplier co-founded and sold two start-ups in the talent acquisition and benefits.
