Atlanta (February 2022) – MMMPact, the corporate social responsibility program at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, nominated two new leaders as it approaches its 10thanniversary. It also announced the date for a major fundraising event for its current nonprofit partner.

Opportunity Zone magazine has named its Top 25 attorneys and once again MMM’s Matt Peurach, is on the list. Peurach has made the list each year since 2019.

Peurach founded and chairs MMM’s Opportunity Zone practice, which was one of the first in the nation. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 created the program to encourage investment in distressed areas by allowing people who invest in those areas to defer, reduce or even eliminate capital gains over time.
