Chambers USA 2013 Recognizes MMM Practice Areas, Attorneys: Atlanta and Washington D.C. Groups, Partners Ranked

05.31.2013

Atlanta (May 31, 2013) ─ Chambers and Partners, the highly-respected publisher of legal directories, has singled out two dozen Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP lawyers in the Atlanta and Washington, D.C. offices for both national and state recognition.

The 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business gives the firm national recognition in two key practice areas:

  • Capital Markets: Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
  • International Trade

Lauren Prevost and Heath Linsky of Atlanta were also both named “Leaders in their Field.” Kudos for their Capital Markets work included a “strong market endorsement” for representing nonlisted REITs, including some of the best-known names in the industry. The publication quoted peers as saying that “they are smart, they care and they do a good job of making you feel as if you are their only client.” Prevost, it adds, has “broad and deep technical knowledge along with a keen business sense.” Clients recommend Linsky because they appreciate his sound judgment.

Chambers recognized the International Trade team as “a strong choice for trade remedies work.” It also named partners Don Cameron and Julie Mendoza, based in Washington, D.C., as “Leaders in their Field.” Cameron is described as “somewhat of an institution,” “impressive,” and “an excellent advocate” who won’t leave a stone unturned when fighting for his clients. The publication said Mendoza also received excellent feedback. “They are both passionate about zealously representing clients and are respected by judges, government officials and other members of the Bar,” their peers commented, praising the firm’s teamwork.

“I am very proud of our lawyers, as well as our clients,” offered Louise M. Wells, the firm’s Managing Partner. “We consistently produce excellent work for our clients with our efforts rewarded by high praise and support. Hard-work, execution and an unwavering commitment to client service produces results and recognition,” she added.
