Penny Jackson Farr is a Corporate Paralegal in the firm’s Corporate Tax group. She has over 20 years of paralegal experience supporting the lawyers in the Tax and Corporate groups.
Ms. Farr has extensive experience in assisting clients with corporate formations and entity records management, UCC/Lien filings and searches, and all states’ Secretary of State filings and searches.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Farr worked 12 years for an Attorney/CPA completing income tax returns for individuals, corporations, estates, and other entities; thus she is very familiar with most tax filings and IRS forms. This prior experience also makes her a valuable asset to a client’s state and federal audit process.
Ms. Farr also assists in the firm’s Wealth Planning group with estate planning document drafting, manages the firm’s safe storage of vault records, and helps our clients with estate administration. In the estate administration process, she is proficient in the preparation of probate forms, accompanies the executor to probate court, inventories the assets and liabilities, manages the assets, distributes the assets, prepares draft estate tax returns, and ensures that all tax and county requirements are in compliance. She is respectful of the grieving family members and sensitive to being time-efficient so as to protect the assets of the ultimate beneficiaries.
