Austin Mills is a Partner in the firm's Corporate Technology Practice and the Chair of the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Group and Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Group. His principal concentration is on the representation of technology and enterprise clients with regards to the drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements, including services agreements, licensing agreements, distributor and reseller agreements, outsourcing matters and technology procurement. Mr. Mills primary subject areas of concentration include software and other technology, copyright law, artificial intelligence, payments, and financial technology.
Mr. Mills advises clients on transactions and the application of laws relating to technology, particularly emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and financial technology. Mr. Mills also advises clients regarding regulatory compliance and industry norms and guidelines, including the development of policies and procedures regarding various regulated activities and the use and provision of emerging technologies.
