MMM's Daniel Sineway Joins Board of Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs

04.09.2019

Atlanta (April 9, 2019) - Daniel Sineway, who chairs the Intellectual Property Practice at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, has joined the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Atlanta.

The Salvation Army owns and operates three Boys & Girls Clubs in the Atlanta area. In addition to providing youth development services, the clubs help promote the health, physical, social, educational, vocational and character development of boys and girls ages six to 18. The clubs are located in communities with a high population of economically-disadvantaged youth. The volunteer Advisory Board manages the programs, special events and fundraising efforts with the help of paid staff.

“I love working with kids, so that was my main impetus for getting involved,” Sineway said. “As a dad, I love seeing how children flourish when they get new opportunities to grow. I also enjoy raising funds for good causes, and the Boys & Girls Clubs is well-established in helping guide young people to become responsible adults. Plus, MMM encourages community involvement and generously opens its offices for events such as the recent Youth of the Year celebration.”

He volunteers with several other organizations as well. He frequently provides educational seminars and advice to startup businesses and early stage technology companies, particularly at the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) at Georgia Tech. He will also provide services to the winners of the upcoming Georgia Game Developers Association “Best of Georgia” competition. Sineway also volunteers with the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, which matches volunteer lawyers with local nonprofits in need of free legal counsel. He is also on the board of the Mustang Fund at Montgomery Elementary School.

Sineway is a registered patent attorney who works with businesses of all sizes to craft and develop innovative intellectual property (IP) strategies tailored to fit each client’s needs. In 2015, the Daily Report legal newspaper named him one to its “On the Rise” class of the state’s top lawyers under age 40.
