Atlanta (June 2017) - Joseph Berklund has joined Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP as an Associate in the Corporate Technology Group.
Berklund recently obtained an LL.M. in Law & Entrepreneurship from Duke University School of Law, where he obtained intensive training in venture capital, private equity, and other legal and business issues affecting growth companies. While at Duke, Berklund worked with the Duke Angel Network sourcing, screening, and conducting diligence on venture capital investments in Duke-affiliated companies, on behalf of Duke-affiliated investors.
"I chose MMM's Corporate Technology group for several key reasons. In addition to having a reputation as phenomenal lawyers, John Yates and the rest of the Corporate Technology team are extremely well-connected and uniquely add value to clients through their vast network," offered Berklund. "Plus the group also operates as a truly cohesive team, which leads to delivery of optimal results for clients and also makes MMM a great place to work."
Before joining MMM, Berklund specialized in complex business litigation in Miami, Florida. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stetson University, his JD degree from University of Wisconsin Law School and LLM from Duke University.
