ATLANTA (August 20, 2012) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced Reggie Bradford, founder and CEO of ViTrue, Inc. and one of Atlanta’s most successful entrepreneurs, will join technology attorney and partner at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, John Yates, for a special fireside chat at the CapVenture finale on September 12 at Newell Rubbermaid.
The two will discuss key issues for entrepreneurs and tap into Bradford’s insights on a number of topics, including: how to build an outstanding management team, how to raise financing, how to select a Board of Directors, why choosing the "right" investor is important, how to make the tough hiring/firing decisions, and when and how to coordinate a successful exit.
“Reggie Bradford is one of Atlanta’s most successful entrepreneurs, having co-founded and led several technology companies through their entire life cycle and highly successful liquidity events,” noted Tino Mantella, president and CEO of TAG. “John Yates has helped Reggie and other key entrepreneurs in our community grow their businesses. CapVenture is a training program designed to educate and equip early stage company executives for smarter and more productive capitalization of their businesses. The six-week training course that combines expert presentations with one-on-one mentoring is offered to entrepreneurs in Atlanta, Augusta and Savannah.
In addition to the fireside chat, the CapVenture finale will feature presentations from the top Series A and seed track companies. Out of 30 companies selected for the CapVenture training program, 10 will be selected to present at the finale event.
