Marketing Coordinator (Corporate Technology) — Buckhead

Morris, Manning & Martin LLP is looking for a Marketing Coordinator for our Buckhead office. Under the direction of supervisors, the Coordinator will provide support to the Marketing and Business Development Department and practice support for the firm’s Corporate Technology and Intellectual Property practices. This individual will perform various support functions related to Business Development and Client Event activities.  The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:


  • Bachelor’s degree required, a focus on marketing or business administration is preferred
  • 2+ years of related experience required
  • Law firm experience or experience in a client-facing role strongly preferred
  • Technology industry sector knowledge or experience interest considered a real plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop)
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work well in a team environment
  • Enthusiastic and a strong focus on client service with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships throughout the Firm
  • Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing workload
  • Ability to manage schedules and timelines for each project/initiative


  • Regularly update, maintain and print all marketing materials for assigned practice areas
  • Manage and coordinate all events for the Corporate, Corporate Technology and Intellectual Property practices including, but not limited to:
    -  Monthly investor reception
    -  Seminars/Webinars
    -  External events
    -  Hosting of clients, strategic partners
    -  Revise, update, maintain and print all Marketing materials for assigned practice areas
  • Maintain budget for designated practice areas
  • Manage and coordinate all events for the assigned practice groups and association sponsorships
  • Actively manage and develop MMM’s presence through social media
  • Submit weekly Business Development reports using Interaction CRM
  • Prepare pitch materials, team sheets and RFP responses
  • Provide marketing orientation to new associates in assigned practice areas
  • Assist with the submission of attorneys and practice areas for ranking publications and award recognition
  • Work with attorneys to develop content – articles, legal updates, etc. – and promote via email and social media
  • Work with PR to maximize exposure for practice news, industry events, and recent developments
  • Create targeted prospect and strategic partner lists and reports
  • Set up booths and represent firm at tradeshows, conferences and events
  • Travel: <10%
  • Other duties as assigned
