Atlanta (February 2016) – Attorneys at the legal departments of some of the area’s most successful businesses will share their knowledge at an upcoming Georgia Bar Association seminar. The program, “Strategies to Build Your Law Firm Practice: Tips from the General Counsels,” will be held March 10 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Buckhead office of Morris, Manning & Martin (MMM). The event is hosted by the firm’s Diversity Committee.

Clyde Mize, who chairs the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program and is a partner at MMM, will moderate the discussion. “It should be extremely helpful for Bar members to hear how in-house counsel at these large organizations effectively increase the diversity of their workforce, which makes for a more modern and productive organization,” Mize says.
The event, which includes cocktails, appetizers and networking, will be held at the MMM’s office in the Atlanta Financial Center, at 3343 Peachtree Rd., N.E. One hour of CLE credit is available.
