Community Involvement

MMM has long recognized its professional obligation to serve the greater communities in which it operates. Central to that responsibility is helping those without means, or with only limited resources, to gain access to our legal system. MMM lawyers and staff contribute to the community in the following ways:
Community Service

MMM encourages its attorneys and staff to become actively involved in community affairs for personal and professional growth. We believe that participation in civic, trade, business, political, religious, legal and social organizations enhances human relations and business development skills and offers exposure to events and issues that are relevant to our practices.

Pro Bono

The pro bono program is administered by the Pro Bono/Community Service Committee. The goals of this program are both to provide legal services to disadvantaged persons in Atlanta who would not ordinarily have access to such services and to develop a reputation for MMM as a leader in providing legal assistance to the Atlanta community. Attorneys and paralegals are encouraged to participate in the pro bono program. The firm credits each associate with up to fifty (50) hours of pro bono legal service per year towards such associate's billable hour goal.
