Andy McNeil is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice specializing in Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation. Mr. McNeil‘s experience focuses on all areas of patent litigation, trademark prosecution (foreign and domestic), and commercial litigation for clients both large and small.  He regularly handles Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings involving the cancellation of existing trademark registrations and the opposition to pending trademark applications. Mr. McNeil represents clients in the registration of domestic and international domain names, as well as proceedings pursuant to the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) regarding the use and registration of domain names. He has significant experience in all areas of patent litigation, including Section 337 Investigations conducted by the U.S. International Trade Commission. Mr. McNeil also has experience with copyright registration and litigation, the protection of trade secrets and general matters relating to franchising.  Mr. McNeil also has significant experience in negotiating and litigating commercial dissolution proceedings.

Mr. McNeil is a part-time instructor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he teaches “Public Policy Mock Trial,” a trial advocacy survey course, and is an assistant coach to the Georgia Tech Mock Trial Team.

• Currently representing several clients in a copyright infringement and trade secret misappropriation case in the Eastern District of Virginia.  
• Currently representing a technology development, acquisition and licensing client in patent infringement action.
• Currently representing several clients in patent infringement suits in the Eastern District of Texas.
