Vanessa G. Morris is a partner in the Real Estate Development and Finance, Commercial Finance, and Finance Capital Markets Practices. Ms. Morris’s recent experience includes representation of developers, lenders and servicers in connection with multifamily real estate projects that include Freddie Mac financing, low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, tax exempt bonds, HOPE VI funds, Federal Home Loan Bank AHP funds, and state or local HOME funds.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Morris worked as an associate at the Atlanta office of Burr & Forman LLP where she represented lenders in standard construction/permanent loans and conduit loans on multifamily, retail, and office real estate projects.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Morris obtained her bachelor’s degree in accounting and held a position as an auditor for the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General, and Office of Audit Services.
