Marguerite “Becky” Patrick is a partner in the Technology and Intellectual Property Litigation Practices. She concentrates her litigation practice on intellectual property and technology matters, including disputes regarding copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, Internet and e-commerce, intellectual property and technology licenses, co-development of technology, non-competition, false advertising, contractual relationships and insurance coverage for intellectual property disputes.

Ms. Patrick’s clients include software, telecommunications, Internet, e-commerce and other high technology companies. Ms. Patrick has represented clients at both the trial and appellate level in cases involving trademarks, copyrights, domain names, trade secrets, trade dress, patents, unfair competition, false advertising, restrictive covenants and general commercial disputes. She also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. Over the past several years, Ms. Patrick has handled major litigation matters for a telecommunications electronics conglomerate, several software and technology companies, a national automobile service and parts distributor, and various manufacturing and distribution companies.

Ms. Patrick was nominated as a 2010 and 2011 Georgia Super Lawyer and was previously nominated as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star”.
