Background
Dr. Jiang is a Technical Advisor in the Intellectual Property Practice. He has over 15 years experience in research and development environments including the development of a new semi-automatic speaker identification system for forensic applications, acoustic testing equipment for pre-natal hearing tests, digital communication equipment development, and optical telecommunication equipment development. He has a strong background in electrical engineering, digital communication, acoustics, phonetics, and forensic sciences.
Dr. Jiang was previously a senior engineer for Movaz Networks in Norcross, where he designed and implemented software for an embedded shelf processor for real-time optical telecom systems. Prior to working with Movaz, Dr. Jiang was a senior member of the scientific staff at Nortel Networks in Alpharetta.
Dr. Jiang also has extensive experience in: speaker identification; acoustics of gunfire, tape authentication; speech decoding/enhancement; noise control/analysis; electronic signatures; aircraft acoustics; correlates of intoxication; and stress in voice.
