Background

Linda L. Klausing is the firm’s director of legal project management. Ms. Klausing has co-developed the firm’s patent pending legal project management system for delivering legal services on major projects for the firm. Ms. Klausing is a key member of the team that is taking the firm’s LPM system to the next generation of a web-based fully transparent system that will improve attorney and client interaction and communication. One of her primary focus areas is creating customized project tools and templates in areas of mergers & acquisitions, commercial litigation, intellectual property/patent prosecution, patent litigation, real estate foreclosures, real estate title management, assumption reinsurance and in other corporate practice areas. Ms. Klausing also coordinates the firm’s project management training and organizes educational programs for the firm’s clients on the MMM Legal Project Management System.

Before joining MMM, Ms. Klausing functioned as the information technology service manager for The Home Depot, where activities included the preparation of project charters defining project requirements, objectives and scope for store projects in the U.S. and Canada. She previously served as a project manager for Georgia-Pacific Corporation and managed the Law and Corporate Security IT Group. She was on the Georgia-Pacific leadership team that developed the Corporate System Service ACE (Above and Beyond Client Expectations) concept, developing ideas for improving client services. While at Georgia-Pacific, she was also on the management team to develop the IT project management methodology and system development life cycle that is still in use today. Ms. Klausing was a former project manager at Checkfree where she developed and implemented project management methodologies into the delivery of software service, installation and training. She is a member of the Project Management Institute.
