John Harris, Partner in the Intellectual Property Group at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, will speak on “Protecting Intellectual Property – Insights into the Legal Process” at a February event. The Entrepreneurs and Innovation Summit will provide insight into the innovation process, and give practical advice about raising capital, protecting intellectual property and creating a culture that promotes innovative thinking.
Mr. Harris will provide an overview of intellectual property (IP) and how it affects the protection of innovation and valuation of the enterprise. He will provide practical pointers on how to manage IP as a business asset to maximize the value of the enterprise. Participants will also learn how IP can help with financing and relationships with strategic partners, as well as protecting against competition.
