Atlanta (March 29, 2017) – Morris, Manning & Martin is in the Top 10 of the Medium-Sized category of the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s 2017 Top Workplaces. The ranking, which is determined by employees’ answers to an independent survey, ranked MMM as #7 – the highest of any law firm in its category.
“This essentially means that we are the top mid-sized law firm to work for in Metro Atlanta,” said Managing Partner Louise Wells. “To make the Top 10 in a category that includes all types of Metro Atlanta area businesses is phenomenal.”
The results are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. The survey measured aspects of workplace culture including leadership, appreciation, direction, execution and more.
The winners were announced at a ceremony honoring the Top 150 workplaces a ceremony March 21 at the Georgia Aquarium. At the event, AJC editor Kevin Riley noted that the honorees accounted for the top .1% of businesses in Metro Atlanta.
“You’re the leaders of this pack,” WorkplaceDynamics CEO Doug Claffey told the honorees attending. To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet strict standards for organizational health. Claffey says the organization’s research show that what matters to employees is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together.
