Atlanta (April 2017) – Learning how to attract and keep new law firm clients isn’t something they teach in law school. That’s why The State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program is presenting symposiums to help attorneys build their legal practices.
Part II of the 2017 Business Development Symposium will be Wednesday, April 26, at the Buckhead office of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, which will host the event. Successful general counsels from leading organizations will share their secrets about skills that matter when they hire outside counsel. Georgia Diversity Program Chair and MMM Partner Clyde E. Mize Jr. will moderate the panel.
The top-tier panelists include:
Michael Bishop, General Counsel, AT&T IP Corporation
Darren Jones, East Region Labor and Employment Counsel, UPS
Elizabeth O'Neill, Chief Counsel, MARTA
Patrise Perkins-Hooker, County Attorney, Fulton County
Tuition for attorneys at firms belonging to the GDP Attorneys is $50. Other attorneys are welcome for a fee of $75. Members of the GDP steering committee may attend for free.
Registration is required to attend and to receive 1.0 hour of CLE credit (including 1 hours of professionalism.) To register to attend, click here. The registration deadline is April 24, 2017.
