Maxwell Raises More than $100,000 for Blood Cancer Research

06.15.2021

Atlanta (June 15, 2021) - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary (nonprofit) health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. Every year the LLS presents the Man & Woman of the Year competition. Candidates form fundraising teams in the philanthropic competition to support life-saving research and honor children who survived leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers. The man and woman who raise the most funds during the 10-week campaign receive the prestigious title of Man or Woman of the Year in their community.

We’re proud to say our Chris Maxwell and his team, which included Justin Barry, Nick Rueter, Daniel Sineway and Stephen Vaughn, raised $111,228 for the Atlanta Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Chris just missed the winning spot, finishing as the runner-up. Well done, team!

Overall, the Atlanta candidates raised a total of more than $2 million! And thank you to the many people and businesses who donated funds to such a great cause!
