WASHINGTON, DC (February 10, 2011) – Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, a national leader in providing regulatory and litigation counsel to the insurance industry, is pleased to announce that Chris Petersen, a partner in the firm’s Insurance practice resident in its Washington, D.C. office, will be the next recipient of the Professional Insurance Marketing Association’s (“PIMA”) President’s Distinguished Service Award.  The announcement was made during PIMA’s 37^th Annual Meeting in Aventura, Florida.

Petersen has been a long time member of PIMA and its Legislative & Regulatory Committee. In that capacity he has provided PIMA’s members with regular updates for articles and in the past two years has offered members encore Webinar presentations. PIMA expressed its appreciation for his expertise in its unique niche of the insurance business and his continued service in an area that is very important to PIMA’s membership.
