Morris, Manning & Martin Names New HR Director

Atlanta (December 5, 2011) ─ John Jakovenko joined Morris, Manning & Martin today as Director of Human Resources. Jakovenko has more than eight years of human resources experience, including expertise in employee relations and teambuilding, management training, leadership development, and business and human capital consulting. He has certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Certified Legal Manager (CLM). As a member of Junior Achievement of Georgia, Jakovenko also volunteers his time as an instructor at South Cobb High School.

Prior to joining MMM, John Jakovenko was the HR Director for a mid-sized law firm in Atlanta, where he built the human resources department from the ground up. Before coming to Atlanta, he provided overall direction to the human resources department for a firm in Los Angeles, California. Jakovenko graduated magna cum laude with his B.S. from Florida State University and received his M.B.A. from the University of Buffalo, The State University of New York.
