February 04, 2008
Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP represented Alogent Corporation in its recent acquisition by Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc. The MMM team included Susan Spencer, Jim Walker and Lou Barbieri.
Goldleaf announced the $42.5 million deal Jan. 17. Goldleaf is a provider of integrated technology-based solutions designed to improve the performance of financial institutions; Alogent is a leading provider of enterprise deposit automation technologies for global financial institutions.
The merger combines two industry leaders that both have a long history in the market. It strengthens Goldleaf’s leadership in converging payments, allowing the company to expand market presence, extend its customer base and create significant cross-selling opportunities.
“Morris, Manning & Martin has advised Alogent from its earliest days and throughout its growth,” said John Yates, who heads’ MMM’s Technology Group. “This is a perfect example of the type of services we provide to growing companies.”
