Atlanta, GA (May 13, 2011) - Stephen B. Schrock, a Partner in the Atlanta office of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, has been elected to serve a two year term on the Board of Directors of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast. 

Schrock is a member of the firm's Timberland Investments & Forest Products, Commercial Real Estate and Hospitality Practices.  The principal focus of his practice includes representing investors, owners and managers in timber transactions involving millions of acres of timberland throughout the U.S. and South America and representing companies and institutions nationwide in the ownership, operation and finance of corporate-owned real estate.

The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast is an independent, not-for-profit business organization founded in 1996 led by Lucia Jennings and a team of other Brazilians with the objective of showcasing Brazil to the Southeasern U.S.  The Chamber assists firms wishing to invest in Brazil and facilitates the entrance of Brazilian firms aspiring to conduct business in the region.  Their mission is to foster trade and investment between Brazil and the Southeastern U.S. and to forge closer ties between the business communities of both nations.
