Duncan unknowingly was recruited by the firm's name partner, Sonny Morris. He is the assistant varsity lacrosse coach at The Lovett School and is an advocate for the Georgia Innocence Project. I ended up having a conversation on the sideline with a lawyer from town. I didn’t know he who he was. I didn’t really know the law firm he worked for. It was my first trip to Atlanta. Probably two weeks later, I went back to D.C. and got a phone call from the person I spoke with at the lacrosse game, and it was Sonny Morris. I don’t think at that time I knew it was Mr. Morris of Morris, Manning & Martin. ... About three months after that, I packed up my truck and dog and came down to Atlanta for my second trip and never left.
