Beaudrot, Street Teach at Emory Law School

February 22, 2008

Morris, Manning & Martin Attorneys Chuck Beaudrot and Larry Street are putting their knowledge to work as adjunct professors at Emory University Law School.

They are each teaching a three-hour class in Contract Drafting to law students for the law school’s unique new Center for Transactional Law and Practice program. The Center’s executive director Tina Stark says the program helps students think like deal lawyers, not just litigators. The curriculum is designed to help them grasp basic transactional concepts, and understand the business world in which the deals take place.

Contract drafting is a foundation course that shows how the law, a business deal and contracts all relate to each other. Students are also encouraged to read the business media, and develop hands-on experience.
