Not only do we have new health care laws (the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" - "PPACA" and the "Health Care and Education Reconcilation Act" - "HCERA") that have been signed into law since late March, but we also now are starting to see some guidance produced by the affected governmental agencies relating to these laws.  Here is a link to a brief memorandum that summarizes how these new laws and the guidance that has been issued thereunder will affect employee benefits and compensation.  We will be alerting you as future additional guidance is issued under these new laws.
