the new Georgia Residential Contractor Licensing
Law: * December 31,
2006 - The last date an experienced contractor may file an
application for exemption from the examination because of prior
experience. * January 1,
2007 – The first date a
residential contractor who wishes to be exempt from the examination
because he/she holds a license from another state may begin
submitting an application. * January 1,
2008 – The final date all residential contractors must be
