![]() Employee Benefits Tip of the Week: New Department of Labor Forms Expedite COBRA Health Care Continuation Subsidy | ||||
|
Last Thursday, the US Department of
Labor issued forms so that employees who terminate employment and who
feel that they should have been entitled to the COBRA health care
continuation subsidy provided under the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act of 2009, but who have not been provided the subsidy,
may appeal that decision. You may recall that the ARRA required
that the government make available an "expedited review" process for
such determinations, and this has now been done through the information
published. | ||||
