Professional Development

Professional growth and advancement of our attorneys is one of our core values. Morris, Manning & Martin provides both formal and informal training programs for our attorneys. These programs are designed to help our attorneys grow in their careers and effectively meet the needs and expectations of our clients and firm. We offer substantive and skills based programs, most of which qualify for CLE credit. The majority of the programs are taught by various partners and senior level associates. We also bring in outside and internal consultants to offer specific sessions on writing, business development, management skills, etc.

To help integrate our new attorneys, we offer a structured mentorship program by pairing each new attorney with an experienced associate or partner mentor. Mentors act as the new attorney’s liaison at the firm, both professional and socially. They provide guidance for the new attorney’s development and aid in his/her integration with the firm.
