Jeanna A. Brannon is Of Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Development and Finance Practice, where she focuses on real estate development of residential resorts, multi-family projects, shopping centers and mixed use developments. She spends much of her time assisting clients, such as Ginn Development Company, Wood Partners and the City of College Park, with master planning and negotiations for their projects.
Ms. Brannon has focused a large part of her practice on mixed-use developments. For the past several years, she worked extensively with a large residential resort developer in the acquisition, planning, development and sales of golf course communities throughout the United States and Caribbean. As the head of the legal team representing the developers of the Atlantic Station Project, a mixed-use development consisting of 138 acres located in Midtown Atlanta, Ms. Brannon was responsible for overseeing the legal work for all aspects of this development, including negotiating contracts with various utility providers, developing the legal structure for the various ownership concepts, negotiating contracts for the sale of parcels within the project, and handling the general day-to-day business issues associated with the development of a $2 billion project.
For over 10 years, Ms. Brannon served as the lead attorney for a real estate developer who has developed over 9 million square feet of shopping center space throughout the Southeast and mid-Atlantic. Ms. Brannon also has experience with the complex area of air rights, having worked on the Atlantic Station Project and with the owners of the Atlanta Financial Center and Capital City Plaza in the negotiations for the conveyance of the right-of-way for the Georgia 400 highway construction.

Representation of a large residential real estate developer in the acquisition, planning, development and sales of properties in the Bahamas, U.S. Virgin Islands and multiple U.S. states, including extensive experience working with the Bahamian government.
Representation of real estate developers in the development of mixed-use projects in Georgia, Florida and Connecticut.
Representation of municipality in connection with structuring a mixed-use project with a developer.
Representation of a multi-family developer in the acquisition of land for development of multi-family product and disposition of the completed product.
