Edward D. Hirsch is a partner in the firm’s Corporate Technology Practice. Mr. Hirsch focuses his corporate law practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and general commercial law. He has extensive experience representing acquirers and acquired companies and handling all areas of mergers and acquisitions. His corporate finance practice involves representing lenders and borrowers in loan negotiations, representing investors and issuers in connection with venture capital investment, and handling private securities offerings.

In addition, Mr. Hirsch’s general commercial law practice involves advising clients in structuring business organizations, representing clients in connection with employee benefit matters, shareholder disputes/divestitures, and shareholder/buy-sell agreements.

Mr. Hirsch’s private equity experience includes closing hundreds of venture capital financings with an emphasis on technology, business process outsourcing, medical device and service-related companies, and representing issuers and venture capital investors. Mr. Hirsch has extensive experience in assisting those clients in formation and capitalization, financings, recapitalization, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, equity incentive plans, and other corporate work.

Mr. Hirsch is a frequent speaker on corporate finance topics, such as mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, corporate governance, and securities law matters.
