Alex Dishun is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Litigation practice. Ms. Dishun’s practice primarily focuses on products liability, real estate, labor and employment, and general commercial disputes.

Ms. Dishun has significant practical experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including preparing petitions for emergency injunctive relief and other pleadings and motions; conducting and managing discovery; negotiating settlements; and preparing for trial. She has assisted clients to obtain favorable decisions from the Georgia Court of Appeals and prevail on summary judgment in numerous cases in the federal and state trial courts.

Representative Matters

Assisting in the defense of a Fortune 50 retailer in connection with complex litigation involving cases nationwide in which plaintiffs allege they suffered respiratory injuries from their exposure to a home improvement product. Representation includes a recent complete defense verdict in a bellwether trial involving five plaintiffs in the U.S.D.C. for the Northern District of Georgia.

Assisting in the defense of a major real estate developer in connection with multiple individual and class action lawsuits pending in state and federal court involving the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act and related claims.

Assisting in the defense of a lender in litigation with another financial institution involving contract and tort claims.
